Smart lösning i Sydkorea

Så här har man placerat solpaneler i Sydkorea; som tak över cykelbanan. Cyklisterna skyddas från trafiken och får dessutom värdefullt solskydd, samtidigt som massvis med förnybar el produceras.

Fiffigt. Men vad drygt att cykla i mitten av en motorväg när det finns fina vägar vid sidan. :)
Men riktigt bra ställen för solceller där ytan inte kan användas till något vettigt.

Dyrt om det händer en olycka och cykelbanan med solpaneler måste ersättas.
Känns riskabelt också med en cykelbana mitt i motorvägen.

Den första SolaRoad skapades i Holland 2014.
The SolaRoad was the world's first bike path made from solar panels, and was a prototype project testing the feasibility of various proposals for smart highways.
The 72-metre (236 ft) path opened in the week of 21 October 2014,and was designed by a consortium of organizations, which built the pathway in Krommenie, Netherlands.

The electricity generated by the PV panels will be used to power the surrounding lighting system, as well as to heat the lane in winter to prevent road slipperiness caused by snow, ice or water. The project is part of a plan by the Dutch government to test the viability of solar power production on road infrastructure.
